A contract of employment can be formed as soon as an employee accepts an unconditional job offer, hence why it is important to have in place a written contract.
It is a legal requirement under Section 1 of the Employment Rights Act 1996 to have in place written terms and conditions. Failure to have in place written terms and conditions or contracts can in some cases lead to a claim of compensation being made against the employer by the employee at the Employment Tribunal.
The documents below will ensure compliance with this legal obligation and help eliminate any disputes over contractual terms at a later date.
